assure ensure insure reassure的区别

assure表示向某人保证某事将要发生，既可以用来确证某事，也可以表示使某人确信，assure的宾语通常是人或人称代词；ensure的意思是使某行为或某件事的结果得以保证，即确保某事发生；insure意思是为防不测向保险公司付钱投保；reassure表示安慰忧虑不安的人，使其安心，放心，恢复信心。

assure ensure insure reassure都含有一定的"保证"之意。

assure是向某人保证什么，后面跟somebody，再跟名词（物）或that从句；

ensure是保证，担保什么东西；后面跟名词（物）或that从句；

insure是“投保；给…保险；接受投保；承保”，经济术语；

reassure是assure前加了表示“反复，一再”的前缀，我们可以理解为“一再向…保证”，就是为了“使…安心；打消…的疑虑”。

1、He assured us of his ability to solve the problem．
