the加名词或形容词表示一类人，后面的谓语动词应该用复数形式。例如The poor should be helped to stand on their own feet.应该帮助穷人们自力更生。the的意思是指已提到或易领会到的人或事物，指独一无二的、正常的或不言而喻的人或事物，解说时用。
